Breaking News
We are updating the site as quickly as possible, the new pricing information has arrived in more of a trickle than we would like so please be patient. We will post all important movers and shakers here first. Our search page has the updated price lists and search tool. All updated posts will include the phrase ‘Summer Best Buy‘
Chevrolet
The Captiva, the big 4×4 from £1999 – £2999 for the 7 seat Automatic.
Mini

Mitsubishi
The Mirage and ASX are joined by the Outlander, the big 4 wheel drive off roader, we are surprised. Perfect if you need a tow car or if you live remotely and need an economical seven seat (52 mpg) four wheel drive car. £1999 advance payment for the 5 seat Manual GX2 or £2999 for the 7 leather seats of the GX3
Nissan

Audi
We can confirm that the Audi Q3 is available in all forms, the full pricing is:
Summer Best Buy – Audi Q3 2.0 diesel manual (140bhp) 2 wheel drive SE – £1499 Advance Payment or £1599 for 4 wheel drive
Summer Best Buy – Audi Q3 2.0 diesel manual (140bhp) 2 wheel drive S-line – £1699 Advance Payment or £1999 for 4 wheel drive
Summer Best Buy – Audi Q3 2.0 diesel S-tronic Automatic (177bhp) 4 wheel drive SE – £2199 Advance Payment
BMW
The 1 series is now available from an excellent £799 in 3 or 5 door for the 116d, which is a 2 litre engine that can return 63 mpg.
Ford
The Mondeo, due for replacement in 2014, has been reduced by £400 to £595 for a 1.6 diesel Zetec
The new Kuga has increased in price by £200 now starting at £995
Vauxhall
The Adam has been reduced by up to £249 for the Salm models. The New Zafira Tourer has now been reduced to a price we feel is reasonable and will review it straight away, priced now start from £399 for the slick seven seater. Prices for the new (facelifted) Insignia are yet to be revealed, the sad news is that the Antara has been removed, this is a great loss for customers who need a 4 wheel drive car with an automatic gearbox as it was excellent value.
Peugeot
The RCZ automatic is still available at £2999 Advance payment
Hyundai
The ix35 has been reduced by £100 and is now from £399.
Dacia
Still no sign of the Duster but the Sandero has increased in price (it was already too expensive) but we have the Sandero Stepway added to the scheme (reviewed shortly) available without an advance payment.
Mercedes Benz
The wonderful looking A-Class has been added to the scheme priced at £1999 for the Manual and £2999 for the Automatic. Pricey but gorgeous.
Volkswagen
Good news all round as the higher powered cars remain on the list such as the CC and the Tiguan all wheel drive Automatic in SE trim.
Citroen
A sad casualty of the new pricing is the Citroen Grand Picasso, the ever popular and affordable 7 seater is due to be replaced in early 2014 with a new version but we are surprised to see it removed so soon. Hopefully this is just a supply blip and it will be back on the scheme very soon, we will let you know more once we have chased up Citroen UK.
Every three months the Motability prices are reviewed, the Summer (Quarter 3 2013) prices are released on the 1st July and as we will be on hand to update you instantly with the ‘movers and shakers’ the new best deals and also the cars that have increased out of hand.
We will let you know of every movement up or down on the previous price with our little arrows. means the price has increased (if you place your mouse on the arrow you can see by how much the price has increased) and if the price has decreased you will see a green arrow or is there is no change in price the arrows will be side by side .
We are expecting to see an end to cars with an advance payment over £2000 which will see the Automatic car drivers hit hard, there is also expected to be a number of higher spec and higher power models removed form the scheme from premium brands such as Audi, Volkswagen and BMW.
New cars:
Skoda Octavia
The current Octavia has built up a strong customer following thanks to its reliability, durable build and impressive practicality. The fact it’s also great value helps. The upcoming Octavia has the new look of Skoda – first seen on the Rapid – and adds improvements in quality and refinement.
Chevrolet Trax
The small crossover is similar in size to the Nissan Juke and also forms the base for the Vauxhall Mokka but should be better value
Renault Captur
The rather oddly named Captur is a small SUV that’s actually based on the Renault Clio which isn’t a surprise when you look at the styling. It uses the same engines too including the three-cylinder 900cc TCe along with Renault’s impressive dCi diesels.
Kia Carens
The Carens is a seven seater, half estate car and half MPV, with this new car Kia has scrapped the sober looks of the old car in favor of a stylish redesign that incorporates the brand’s new design. Update from KIA: The Carens will not be joining the scheme this quarter but we will see it later in the year.
Dacia Duster
The Sandero joined the scheme so why not the Duster? we live in hope but are concerned that the pricing might not make us as happy as it should judging on the Sandero pricing.
Hi just received my higher rate of mobility and deciding what SUV to get, is it worth waiting for the new prices and vehicles ? Cheers
Im in need of a nine seater are these available?
Hi Guys
First motorbility car ready on the 30th the mazda cx 5.
As I have a car to part x we have used this money to get extras. My question is what happens value wise at the end of the 3 years will we be able to get a equaly higher spec useing the “extra value” of the higher spec cx 5 or does it just get taken irrespective of spec and we just get a basic model unless we add extra cash?
Thanks for any help.
Anthony,
Any extra you add to the car will stay with the car when you hand it back at the end of the lease, you then start from scratch to choose a new car. At the end of your lease you can ask Motability for a price to buy the car from them, this price will be based on the car without the extras that you have already added and paid for.

Just want to know will the a class have more models available in 2014 as mercedes only offering se n sport model? Will the amg diesel spec come available as engine size is still same jus specification? Thanx
Hi
I am ready to change my mobility
car at the end of 2014.
I was looking at the Mercedes
A200 auto sport. I know that motobility are
culling some cars from the scheme do you know
if Mercedes will still be with motobility and
the A200 auto sport will be one of the cars
that they will still be offering on the scheme.
thank you
Hi I will be coming to the end of my contract in April! Do you have any idea if the bmw 2 series will be coming out on the scheme and if so when would it be available as it isn’t on sale till mid march! Is the q3 still available as I can’t see it on the scheme! I am currently looking at a 3 series or vw cc! Would you advise any other cars on the scheme thank you .

John,
Range Rover are not on the Scheme as there is a Cap on cars retailing over 25k.

After a change in my personal circumstances I need to change our car, we currently have a 1.6 Nissan qasqui, however I need an automatic asI have had a leg amputated .
After browsing most cars I have got the choice down to the 1.6 ford focus zetec or thre vauxhall Astra 2.0 Sri diesall.
Could I please have some opinions and thoughts to help me chose.
Many thanks
going to collect my new mobility car tomorrow, will the dealer fill the car with diesel our do you fill it yourself.
Declan,
When we picked up our last car from Volkswagen the Salesman told me they were instructed to put £5 of fuel into the car. We had to stop on the way home to put more fuel in as the light was on and alarm going off before we left the dealership car park. In short there will be some fuel in the car, but don’t expect it to be full to the brim, take some money with you is our advice.
Hi, I will be getting my first car on motability, I have seen an audi a1 but the advances are quite high the 1.4petrol is £900 I heard the prices will change next week?? I don’t know whether to place an order now or wait till next week? I don’t know what to do shall I wait will the audio a1 still be available. Is the Ford fiesta zetec good as a second choice? Thanks
Harry,
The A1 1.2 petrol and the excellent 1.6 litre diesel are much cheaper than the 1.4 petrol. The Ford Fiesta is an excellent car and fun to drive too. I would not worry about prices changing on the 1st October, there will be little or more than likely no changes in the prices of both of these cars.

Hi
After weeks of deliberating we have finally chosen the Outlander GX3 with leather seats. We need a 7 seater and leather seats as my daughter drools a lot and leather wil be easier to keep clean. I picked up my first car 29th December so presumed I would be able to order next one on 30th September 3 months in advance. I have just received my renewal pack and it states I have to order next car after 30th September so on 1st of October I am worried that my chosen car will no longer be available. Help.
Gemma,
I am sure that a conversation with Motability will enable you to order the Outlander on the 30th September, Motability are very understanding in cases such as yours.

Hi,
I would like a4x4 suv maybe BMW or Audi q3 but don’t know which could you give me some idea of the deposit on both and which car do you think is best between the two.
Thanks
Joe,
The Audi Q3 is proving a very popular car and would be our choice, particularly if you needed an Automatic. Both cars have super engines and are well regarded in the industry for their build quality and driving credentials and as is always the case with cars it comes down to person preference.

Hi micheal,
Has the seat alhabrama been taken of the motabilaty scheme we don’t have a local main dealer only a private dealer which deals with many different makes and i guess they will try and sell us the car they get most commission on, the dealer told us the Alhabrama was no longer on the scheme and pressed us with a Renault scenic.
thanks in advance
mark.
Mark,
The Seat Alhambra has been taken off the Scheme, it is pretty much the same car as the VW Sharan, which despite having a larger retail price than the Alhambra was offered on the scheme at the same price. Frankly the Renault Scenic, while a very good car, does not have the size, rear sliding doors or interior room for the passengers that the VW Sharan can offer.

Hi I like to no if the prices are go to change in october please and if they go to add any more cars on …..pluse like to ask if your a nother question please if u can help. ..my d.v.l.a is go to be reviewed again in 2015 what will happen if I get a nother vehicle and they stop my money how will it work please anyone who can help me on this pldase I no they a lot of changes in benfits please ….
Naz, some prices will change in October but we predict it will not be out of hand. New cars are released onto the scheme all the time not just at price change points. If your DLA is stopped you have to give up the car straight away and you receive a percentage of the advance payment on a Pro rata basis, eg. if you had the car for 18 months you would get half your advance payment back.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
Will the vw cc 177 bhp still be on the scheme in October thanks.
James, the simple answer is we do not know, but if we were forced to be gamblers then we would bet on it still being available.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
can you tell me if bmw are likely to add any more 3 series auto diesel to the oct update,i contacted dealer who told me 316/318 se were available ,with an ad payment of 2999,is this a high/low adv payment for a 3 series auto .thanks
David, the BMW 3 series has always attracted a premium price tag, the prices have not changed much over the years, only you can decide if a particular car is worth the money but if you look at the retail price of a 318d automatic (£28,860) then the advance payment is realistic.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
I’m new to the scheme and your site has been so helpful, thank you. I can only drive automatics and get snowed in where I live so am looking for a 4×4, but one which I can get into without problems. I find the Kuga too high for my mobility issues. Do you think the Suzuki Swift 4×4 automatic will be available as a motability car from October, please? Hopefully, without an advance. Are there any automatic 4x4s now?
Will the car change in October
Hi Will the new style Nissan micra be available on the scheme soon?
Hi, could you please give me any information regarding the New Citroen C4 Aircross or the new sx4 s cross my car is due to be replaced in November I had decided on the Nissan qaishqai but now not so sure as the fuel economy is pretty poor compared to say the Volvo cross country but having been to see this vehicle it is quite a struggle for me to get in and out of. Peugeot in my opinion have made a big mistake with the 2008 as its not big enough although does look great. Also one other point I would just like to raise with yourselves in a different part of your website you say the Renault captur is not available on the motability scheme although it now is available though in my opinion Renault have overpriced it along with the scenic it’s a joke when can get the Audi Q3 for the same or a little more advance payment than these Renault models. Any information on the cars I originally asked about would be much appreciated , Thank You.
Further to my recent comment about the two cars I wanted more info on the citroen c4 Aircross will not be released in the U.K according to Citroen themselves big big mistake as it would certainly have given nissan and many other car makers competition, even its own c4 picasso which maybe why its not part of citroen uk’s line up.The Suzuki s cross although being unveiled at the next motability event on Thursday 8th August at Aintree neither motability or even Suzuki can give any idea of AP’s surely this should have been sorted out before the car is shown to motability customers. I’m very reluctant to order the nissan qashqai as the new model is scheduled for early to mid 2014, very confused as what to do that’s the only trouble I’m spoilt for choice ??
Yes the A-Class is a wonderful looking car, but what a rip off the down payment is!.. The down payment on the cheapest B-Class automatic is 1,800, so why is it 2,999 for the cheapest A-Class automatic when it’s lower down the range than the B-Class… It appears that just because the A-Class is slightly newer than the B-Class, customers are being held to randsom. It’s a case for trading standards in my opinion.
Having recently being told that i have a disability and claiming DLA, I have been told that i am entitled to a mobility car. As this is all new to me could you explain what i need to do and how i go about getting a car? Also, do they offer Cabriolet’s on mobility?
many thanks
Hi there again, just got some bad news, we went to order our Ford Kuga last week but we forgot our licence at home, by the time we got back to dealers it was closed.
today the dealer called and said the price has gone up by £600.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that we cant place an order till July 8th, because our car is not due till Ocotber!!
My contract always expires in September, last year I ordered my zafira in May, on the 9th, we were given a estimated date of September 5th I think it says on the paperwork. the car never got delivered to us till October 9th! and now they wont let us get the Kuga at the price of last week because of the contract having to start in October, and you cant order a car before 3months apparently.
I don’t see my fault in it though, why should I be stung for an extra £600.00!!!!
I can order my next vehicle from 1 October onwards. If the range of Audi cars remain as ther are on the 1 July price list then I will certainly be going for the Q3 SE 7 speed transonic.
Do you believe the Q3 will still be available after the 1st October?
Just want to no that my car is due for renewal in October what will be changed from now and then will their be more cars add are will their be a change in the prices if u got any information please let me no I don’t no what to do….
Could anyone give me any comments on the Fiat 500 automatic query any faults etc and reliablity
Which 4 by 4 has a sat nav?
At the moment looking at Honda crv but no sat nav
is the new focus st available on motability
Is the BMW M Sport still on the scheme? BMW car dealers does not always tell the truth what the car comes with. Will never trust them again
Yes, the M-Sport is available on the X1 and 1 series only. Contact your BMW dealer for full details, there are some nice ones out there.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
I was told that years ago garages like Ford offered money off AP. Have not heard of anything lately. Does some garages run such an offer?
Likewise we have not heard of actual discounts for a long time, the key to any deal is if the dealer has the car in stock, dealers have to buy the cars but get given a period of grace, if they are due to pay for the car then one would assume a deal could be done.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
BMW offer inbetween 8-12% off options when ordered with the car and some individual VX dealers offer discount too – the best I was offered was 4%.
Is it possible to have the article at the begining of this page set so we know what and when the new updates are added?
Not sure the web designer (me) can make those kind of template changes. He is not that skilled, just a likeable chap with a big heart.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
Thanks for the information you provide.
Hi
Will the 4 series bmw be available when it comes out? Also are we expecting to see any decent engines rather than the under powered 1.6 petrol and 1.8 diesel?
Thanks
Jim,
The 4 series has a starting price of over 33 thousand pounds, there in no chance of it appearing on the scheme. With regards to BMW numbering relating to the size of engine, this changed a few years ago, BMW now make various versions of the same engine, its more cost effective this way, for example the 316d 318d and 320d are all two litre in size. where as the 114, 116 and 118 petrols are all 1.6 litre in size.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
Ok thanks for that, I just noticed it on your ‘coming soon’ page, I guess you might want to remove it from the list. Also I was referring the actual bhp figures, the 320d is approx 186 bhp? and the 318d 143? BMW did have the 320d on there previously is why I ask
Thanks
Jim,
Apologies, at the time of writing that I must have been dreaming, I will remove the 4 series from the page. The old 320d was on the list towards the end of its time but the new version has been the 318d only.

Hi, I am due to receive my BMW 318d SE automatic in a few weeks, I have just read that you are awaiting confirmation for the new prices, please can you let me know asap what the price is for this model as if it has gone down then i can negotiate with my dealer.
Thanks
So,
The dealer will have information on the pricing, but it has not decreased.
Are you sure it has not decreased? As on your website ur says TBC for the automatic model.
It is available but we are waiting for confirmation from BMW of the pricing, but have been assured from them that prices have not decreased.
Will the Chevrolet Trax come on to the scheme?
We were hoping to see it this quarter as it should have been a better value option to the Vauxhall Mokka which is overpriced in our opinion as it is the same car. I guess retail sales are going well, will see it next quarter if not before.
will pro ceed GT be avalibile on motability
No, only the S and SE models.
Glad to see the high spec VW’s have remained, just hope are still there come next year when I come to renew. Would also be nice if when the 4 series comes to motability it comes with a decent engine, 2.0td or 2.0 petrol
Thanks
Just want to no if they do lexie on the scheme and which ones
please
No Lexus cars on the scheme, too expensive.
You wish Naz!!
I was just dreaming jim
Hi just want to no if the new A class Mercedes is on the scheme please
Yes it is, It will be reviewed today.
have u heard anything on the new A class mercedes please
and will they be a change in october prices list please are will their be more cars add to the list
The Outlander 5 seat is in fact £1999 deposit (AP) and not £199 as stated above. There are some deposits for the new Skoda Octavia Estate, including the top of the range Elegance. Also the new Citreon C4 Picasso (5 seat) in Exclusive+, trim the specification is amazing
I have been asked by the car dealer to pay a deposit of £250 of the advance payment when I order my car. Other dealers have told me I pay nothing of the advance payment until I get the car. Could you advise which of these is correct.
Willie,
Dealers have started to ask for deposits on the Advance Payments, not all but some. We paid a £400 deposit on our last Volkswagen. If it is a problem or something you dont want to do then talk to motability and they will speak to the dealer on your behalf.

Thanks for the info, the Kia Sportage 1.7TD 3 5dr has been reduced to £1,499.00 from nearly £1800 but I think the 1 and 2 have stayed the same. Since I contacted you earlier I have looked into the spec of all the cars I mentioned and if the Mazda had been diesel that would have been my pick the spec on the Mazda CX-5 2.0 Sport 5dr is fantastic, as for the Honda the manufacturer is quoting mid 30 mpg on the petrol engine which normally means mid 20 mpg in practice so that rules it out. So I think it has to be the Sportage, the spec is excellent and I am going for a test drive tomorrow.
Please help i am looking for an SUV and like the Kuga, Q3, Sportage and Mazda CX5, the Kuga has went up in price quite a bit and the Sportage has came down by £300 the CX5 is new to the scheme but only petrol version and cant find any info about the petrol engine. Only do about 7000 miles a year so is petrol an option. All 3 seem to have a better spec than the Q3 so i am really looking for some help.
Brian,
We have to confess that we know very little about the Mazda CX-5, but from what we know we are big fans, if a little disappointed that the engines are no longer rotary in design. The Hyundai ix35 has been reduced in price this quarter and scrubs up well. The price increase in the Kuga pushes it further away from being good value also we have the Kia Sportage as remaining static in pricing this quarter. We will be getting behind the wheel of a CX-5 as soon as we can and assume you will be too, you may like to pop into the Honda garage on your way to check out the CR-V its one of our very favorites.

I am very glad to see your news that the Audi Q3 2.0 s-tronic 4WD Automatic will be availble. When I search on the Motability website though I cannot find this model available. Do you mind if I ask where your information comes from and what do I quote when speaking to my Audi dealer?
Matthew,
We phoned up Audi UK and spoke to their their excellent Customer service team, while they did not know the answer initially, they called us back some hours later and confirmed prices and availability.
Still no s-line Q3 available with the s-tronic gearbox though, which is a shame. I had ordered the SE s-tronic and the dealer promised to swap my order for the s-line s-tronic if it became available after the deadline – looks like I’ll have to stick with the SE, still a great deal though, one of the best on the scheme I think.
hi,
Just been informed by Vauxhall that the new insignia, hatch & tourer prices will be revealed on friday of this week. Just to try and help incase anyone is wondering
Will the Audi Q3 2.0 diesel s-tronic automatci (177bhp) 4 wheel drive s-line be available to WPMS Holders? Thanks.
Yes it is available to WPMS, order through your local dealer or speak to Audi UK Motability team which are very helpful. 0800 699 888
* sorry confused, the S-line no, the SE yes.

Are the new Merc A-Class AMG models available, and what engine sizes are being added?
No AMG, just the SE and Sport. The A200 Sport being the pick.
Can you just confirm that the 3 series automatic version along with all X1 models and the 1 series 120D M sport (auto) have all been taken off the scheme? Thanks!
Ihave had a c4 picasso platinumon order since April should have had it by 24thJune , but was informed that they had discontinued manufacture of this car and that I could have new model coming out without any increase in advance payment. But the model they say is the replacement for platinum does not have same level of spec, ie 17″ wheels, spare wheel, tinted rear windows, biult in air freshner, biult in torch. chrome body strips around windows. , The higher model being introduced , the exclusive has all these features, and I think this is the model closest to the one originally ordered, (A) I understand from what you list previously that they should have been contractually obliged to supply the car on order, (B) It appears that they are automatically changing to this new model without me having to sign a new contract, can i be obliged to accept the new model when it arrives as noone as ever seen any of them yet or had any details or chance to road test, they are not in country yet,
Graham,
The prices for the new Picasso are released so it could be the case you are benefiting financially by Citroen offing you the new car but I would certainly push Citroen for the Exclusive model, you can contact Citroen Customer services directly and speak to the Motability team on 0844 463 3500. There is no rush and certainly do not feel pressured into a quick decision, if you need to test drive the car before making a decision make this clear, it is your right.

Hi I ordered a BMW X1 2.0 M sport 2 weeks ago and i see they have been taken off the scheme willi still recieve it? what are your views on this vehicle?
many thanks
Leigh,
Yes you will still receive your car, the order is a contract and cannot be broken by either party. The X1 is powered by one of the best engines available in any car and the M-sport gives it an extra cutting edge in the looks department, you have made a wise purchase.
hi, i was wondering if you could help? i ordered aa astra gtc sri in white at the end of may. i was to get it on august the 5th but asked to get it on the 1st of september so i could get the new 63 plate. after seeing a few white ones and red on the streets. i prefer the red 1. is it possible to change the colour? i tried contacting the dealership i ordered from but the mobility guy is off on holiday. please help. thank you very much.
why isn’t audi a3 1.2 on the scheme for this quarter? 1.6 SE is available but not 1.2 SE/sport/sline? :S
have the Ford Kuga’s, S max and Galaxy gone up in price or down.
We have heard from a customer that the Kuga has increased by £600 but cant confirm this until the prices come out on 1st July
will the tiguan se be taken off as its only around 1299 right now
Lloyd,
The Tiguan SE should survive the cull, we hope that it will be joined by an automatic sibling, but won’t hold our breath.
Will prices be out first thing Monday on this site or even late Sunday June 30th. Needs to see prices and Cars gone or added ASAP before placing my order on 7 June!! Could you please have all cars added/subtracted on the site ASAP on JULY the 1st. Thank you great site helping the disabled/ their carers.
John,
We will do our best, with the price change taking place on a Monday there will be very little leakage of prices.
I’ve been trying to order the grand c4 since May but Citroen aren’t allowing me to because of the change in model. it’s the only car we can afford that seats us all plus equipment but I can’t find the grand c4 on the price list any more. Please don’t tell me it’s no longer available on the scheme.
Melanie,
This is scandalous; the car offers excellent value to those needing a larger vehicle, it is the best value of the cars with three seats in the middle row – not two seats and a bump. It is a great loss to the scheme, we do hope there will be continued supply as the replacement Grand Picasso is not released until next year. We will contact Citroen to ask these questions.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
Phew, I due to order tomorrow. Thank you for reply.
The comment below, do you have any evidence for this or information from Motability? I ask because I cannot change my vehicle until mid July and if what you say is true then all the cars I had listed will not be available.
“We are expecting to see an end to cars with an advance payment over £2000 which will see the Automatic car drivers hit hard, there is also expected to be a number of higher spec and higher power models removed form the scheme from premium brands such as Audi, Volkswagen and BMW.”
Sammy,
We are trying to help the most vulnerable in society not get ripped off and hopefully keep people informed of the best choice of car in an honest and informative manner, we are not making the news or even passing judgement on it, we are only passing on information. The proof is that Motability has told the Government that they will become increasingly profitable, perhaps removing the higher priced faster depreciating models from their range will assist them in this. As they say ‘you do the math’.
whichmobilitycar.co.uk
Hi. I am looking to order a 4 w/drive car & want to know are there any new ones being added to the list on 1st July?
If I place a order for Tiguan SE model now which is on the scheme and it is approved, if that said vehicle is no longer on he scheme on 1st July would my order still e fine considering I’ve placed it in June at not on or after July 1st. Please help as I’m a bit worried.
Michael,
Any order placed prior to the 1st July will be honoured at the point of order, If you place the order for the Tiguan SE now you will get your car.
