Vauxhall Antara

Vauxhall Antara – Sad Loss

Vauxhall

The Adam has been reduced by up to £249 for the Salm models. The New Zafira Tourer has now been reduced to a price we feel is reasonable and will review it straight away, priced now start from £399 for the slick seven seater. Prices for the new (facelifted) Insignia are yet to be revealed, the sad news is that the Antara has been removed, this is a great loss for customers who need a 4 wheel drive car with an automatic gearbox as it was excellent value.

Peugeot

The RCZ automatic is still available at £2999 Advance payment

Hyundai ix35 now from £399

Hyundai ix35 now from £399

Hyundai

The ix35 has been reduced by £100 and is now from £399.

Still no sign of the Duster but the Sandero has increased in price (it was already too expensive) but we have the Sandero Stepway added to the scheme (reviewed shortly) available without an advance payment.

Mercedes A Class motability carMercedes Benz

The wonderful looking A-Class has been added to the scheme priced at £1999 for the Manual and £2999 for the Automatic. Pricey but gorgeous.

Volkswagen

Good news all round as the higher powered cars remain on the list such as the CC and the Tiguan all wheel drive Automatic in SE trim.

Citroen C4 Picasso

Citroen C4 Picasso, Gone but not forgotten

Citroen

A sad casualty of the new pricing is the Citroen Grand Picasso, the ever popular and affordable 7 seater is due to be replaced in early 2014 with a new version but we are surprised to see it removed so soon.  Hopefully this is just a supply blip and it will be back on the scheme very soon, we will let you know more once we have chased up Citroen UK.

New Motability Prices

Motability prices change every 3 months, next change is 1st July 2013

Every three months the Motability prices are reviewed, the Summer (Quarter 3 2013) prices are released on the 1st July and as we will be on hand to update you instantly with the ‘movers and shakers’ the new best deals and also the cars that have increased out of hand.

We will let you know of every movement up or down on the previous price with our little arrows.  means the price has increased (if you place your mouse on the arrow you can see by how much the price has increased) and if the price has decreased you will see a green arrow Price reduced from previous quarter price or is there is no change in price the arrows will be side by side .

We are expecting to see an end to cars with an advance payment over £2000 which will see the Automatic car drivers hit hard, there is also expected to be a number of higher spec and higher power models removed form the scheme from premium brands such as Audi, Volkswagen and BMW.

New cars:

Skoda Octavia motability car

Skoda Octavia

The current Octavia has built up a strong customer following thanks to its reliability, durable build and impressive practicality. The fact it’s also great value helps. The upcoming Octavia has the new look of Skoda – first seen on the Rapid – and adds improvements in quality and refinement.

Chevrolet Trax Motability car

Chevrolet Trax

The small crossover is similar in size to the Nissan Juke and also forms the base for the Vauxhall Mokka but should be better value

Renault Captur Motability car

Renault Captur

The rather oddly named Captur is a small SUV that’s actually based on the Renault Clio which isn’t a surprise when you look at the styling. It uses the same engines too including the three-cylinder 900cc TCe along with Renault’s impressive dCi diesels.

Kia Carens motability car

Kia Carens

The Carens is a seven seater, half estate car and half MPV, with this new car Kia has scrapped the sober looks of the old car in favor of a stylish redesign that incorporates the brand’s new design. Update from KIA: The Carens will not be joining the scheme this quarter but we will see it later in the year.

Dacia DusterDacia Duster

The Sandero joined the scheme so why not the Duster? we live in hope but are concerned that the pricing might not make us as happy as it should judging on the Sandero pricing.
