The MG HS is the new replacement the GS, it is developed in Longbridge and built in China and boasts a 450 litre boot and room for five adults. Powered by a 1.5 litre petrol, six speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch automatic, that produces good power at 160 bhp (0-62 in 9-9 seconds) but the fuel economy is a tad disappointing at 37.2 miles per gallon.  Two trims, Excite and Exclusive both well equipped but the Exclusive has nice touches such as reversing camera, LED headlights and a panoramic glass roof. Prices for Q1 ‘Winter’ 2022 have increased but given the rise in all cars over the last few quarters remain competitive. The manual cars are £399 in Excite and £1199 in Exclusive and as an auto £699 and £1499 Advance Payment for the two trims.

The HS Plugin Hybrid has left the Scheme as at 1st January 2022.

The popularity of the HS has led to delivery delays, speak to the dealer about this as it may not affect all cars but we have heard six months being mentioned.
