Four wheel drive mobility cars?

Due to the recent changes in the Mobility scheme meaning that Advance Payments are capped at £2000 and that the winter is heading our way we decided to revisit the topic of 4 wheel drive cars. We live in hope that more cars will become available in January 2012 when the next quarter pricing is released. Presently if you live in a remote area and need a 4 wheel drive car then the choice is between three cars and if you need an automatic four wheel drive then the choice is one, the Vauxhall Antara which presently has a six month waiting list. Do note that the manual Antara is not 4 wheel drive but 2 wheel drive.

Winters seem to be getting worse so there is justifiable demand for a car that wont get stuck on the commute as if you are disabled yourself or carrying a disabled passenger then the need to reach your destination is heightened as you can’t just get out of the car and wander home or dig the car out of a drift.

These are the only three available, click on the car image to see a more in depth review.
