Dacia Duster

Dacia Duster

The Duster is the car that has catapulted the fortunes of Dacia, similar in size to a Nissan Qashqai. The engine options are petrol, diesel or bi fuel. Petrol options are a 1.0 litre offering a puny 89 brake horse power of a 1.3 litre with 128 bhp as a manual or 148 bhp as an automatic. The diesel is a 1.5 litre offering 113 bhp as a front wheel drive or four wheel drive car, but only with a manual gearbox. The bi fuel is an interesting option, particularly at this times of soaring fuel costs, it pairs a 99 bhp 1.0 petrol engine with fuel coming from either the traditional petrol tank or the 34 litre LPG tank positioned where the spare wheel would sit. Two trim lies are available on the scheme Comfort; alloy wheels, air conditioning, seven inch touchscreen infotainment system with DAB digital radio and sat nav, reversing camera, rear parking sensors and two way split rear seats. Prestige models add a surround view camera system, automatic climate control and 17-inch alloy wheels. Prices start at £795 Advance Payment for the bi fuel in Comfort trim (£1295 AP in Prestige), the 1.3 petrol manual starts at £1695 AP and the Automatic £2495 AP. Diesel cars start at £1695 AP or £2495 AP in all wheel drive.
