Chevrolet Spark

The Chevrolet Spark is one of the cheapest cars you can get on the Car Mobility scheme, a reason in itself to give it a second glance.

The Model we recommend is the 1.2 litre Petrol engine in LT trim, the reason being that the extra power of the engine should actually save you money as the smaller engine model will require a bit more right foot to get the car around town.

This car is good value, it has four doors and a hatchback boot (technically known as five doors), air conditioning, electric front windows, CD player and radio with the ability to plug in an auxiliary player, remote central locking and our favorite thing – hidden rear door handles that make it look like a sporty three door hatch back.

It is a small car yet it’s big enough to carry a small family around in comfort and the boot is big enough to hold the shopping. This may be a cost effective buy but you are not missing out on the style front.

The 1.2 litre engine will do 100 miles per hour and 0-62 in 12.2 seconds yet the official figures for combined Miles per gallon is 55.4 given that this car will cost £52.50 of your DLA Mobility Allowance you will have £2.75 a week left of your DLA Mobility Allowance to keep you in petrol.

Price increased by £1.05 per week Autumn Best Buy – Chevrolet Spark 1.2 petrol LT 5dr  –  £53.55 Per Week (you will still receive £1.70 per week as a DLA Payment)
