Cashback on Advance Payments

We can only describe the price changes on the 1st April 2014 as disappointing, with one glaring exception as Ford, in many cases have reduced Advance Payments, are now offering a ‘Cashback’ to further entice customers. The offer is not on all models but is available on the Zetec models of the Focus at £200 and £50 on all Fiestas and Kuga’s at £200, the Kuga Titanium and Titanium X also has a free appearance pack which offers aluminum finish roof bars and privacy glass.

This aggressive tactic by Ford has led to some dealerships offering their own ‘Cashback’ scheme to potential customers and we want to share this information with you in order that you can get the best possible deal. It is important to note that the ordering and handover of a car needs to take place on a face to face basis.

Guide to getting a bargain

• Dealerships are at liberty to reduce the Advance Payment you pay in the form of a ‘Cashback’

• Shop around – phone or email the dealers in your area and ask if they are running any promotions and mention their competition are offering ‘Cashback’.

• Negotiate – This is not for everyone and is easier said than done, if this is not your forte then use email and resist all requests to ‘pop down’ to talk to the expert and persist with the email correspondence.
