Volkswagen CC GT

The VW CC is no longer on the Scheme as of 1st January 2017

Volkswagen CC GT Motability carSince the Mobility car scheme capped its pricing you would have assumed that all the high performance cars had gone forever, however the Volkswagen CC GT has managed to sneak through the net. If you mourn the disappearance of the Mercedes C Class, the Audi A4 and all but the most basic BMW 3 Series then we have a treat for you. The Volkswagen CC (Comfort Coupe) is a sleeker version of the Passat, lowered by 50mm yet wider and longer it really does cut quite a dash. On a practical level the CC may not win any prizes, the boot, while large, has a small opening and a high lip, the rear seats suffer from the low roofline and the low driving position means the CC is not the easiest to manoeuvre into and out of, but you do get astounding performance and excellent standard equipment.

The Volkswagen CC is available in standard guise or in this version the GT which as standard has two tone heated leather seats (available in a number of colour combinations), 18″ alloy wheels, cruise control, front fog lights, front and rear parking sensors, two zone electronic climate control, 5″ integrated touchscreen Sat Nav , DAB radio CD player, Bluetooth connectivity, Bi-xenon headlights with daytime running lights, rear LED lights, a full sized spare alloy wheel, tinted glass and an electric controlled drivers seat. In short; everything you need to eat up the miles in complete comfort and luxury.

The sole engine available for the CCGT to mobility customers is the 150 brake horse power two litre diesel which will return 63 miles per gallon yet is fast enough to reach 62 miles per hour in 9.1 seconds. It  is available with the excellent DSG automatic gearbox that only takes a little bit off the fuel economy (59mpg) and does not affect the performance, 9.1 seconds 0-62 and 132mph top speed.  Prices are very realistic for the level of luxury and performance on offer from the CC GT.
