Alfa Romeo is an Italian car manufacturer.  Founded on June 24, 1910 in Milan, the company has been involved in car racing since 1911, and has a reputation for building expensive sports cars. The company was owned by the Italian state between 1932 and 1986 then became part of the Fiat Group.

Alfa have always made interesting looking and high performing cars, traditionally targeting the driver and not the passengers, cars that feel like they go a lot faster than the performance figures suggest. Alfa cars have suffered historically from reliability issues but this in in the past, the present group of cars are well built and are a gorgeous bunch.
